Em data diferente por conta da pandemia, a A Associação da Imprensa Estrangeira de Hollywood (HFPA) finalmente anunciou os candidatos ao Globo de Ouro 2021, que será realizado dia 28 de fevereiro de 2021.
Tivemos os anúncios das melhores séries e filmes, como de costume. Na parte dos longas, Mank, da Netflix, foi o que mais teve indicações, ficando com seis categorias, assim como The Crown, também da Netflix, que lidera na parte das séries.
A cerimônia deste ano deve ser semelhante ao Emmy 2020, no qual os vencedores não estiveram presentes e receberam seus prêmios em suas próprias casas.
